Zhu Changdi was born in Chongqing in 1938 and graduated from Chengdu Institute of Technology in 1960. In 1962, he studied Chinese flower and bird paintings with the famous Sichuan flower and bird painter Zhu Peijun, and then attacked Chinese landscape paintings.
He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Sichuan Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Painting Art Committee, and the president of the Sichuan Provincial Landscape Painting Association. Honorary Chairman of the Chengdu Artists Association and Director of the Art Committee. Dean of the Chengdu Chinese Painting Academy, dean of the Chengdu Municipal Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the United Front Work Department, and vice president of the Chengdu Municipal People's Political Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
His works often participate in national exhibitions: National Sketch Painting Exhibition, National Lacquer Painting Exhibition, National Landscape Painting Exhibition, National Painting Academy Biennale, and the 8th and 9th National Art Exhibition. He has won silver, bronze, excellence and masterpiece awards. And in Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Anhui, Zhengzhou, Lanzhou, Taiwan, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Germany, Marburg and other places, held a solo exhibition. Zhu Changdi specializes in Bashan and Lishui, and his vision is broad. His works are divided into three categories. First, the plateau series mainly depicts the landforms of Sichuan Gan, A, and Liang minority areas, such as "Gu Ma Early Spring" and "Golden Autumn outside Jiuzhai". Second, the riverside series, mainly describes the Sichuan rivers, gorges, cliffs and cliffs and the majestic style, such as "the town on the banks of Ningjia River", "Jinyu River", "the morning of Jinduhe", etc.; The farmer series mainly depicts the customs and customs of the farmer in the Sichuan Basin. It is more like poetic sketches, such as "Nanjing Jincun", "Autumn Sound", "Liaoshan Xia" and so on.
Zhu Changzheng proposed that objects are basic geometric bodies and their combinations under the action of light, summed up the "physical teaching theory", and achieved remarkable results in the creation and teaching of landscape painting.
